It’s important to spend a great deal of your special day with someone whose presence is comfortable and great for diffusing the tensions that come with such a big day, and the top comment I hear from people who have graciously asked me to be their photographer is that I make them feel comfortable.  Each wedding with Admire is tailored to you and your fiance and what you’re looking for – in essence, as your photographer I become a part of your lives – and my job is looking for unique moments and capturing your individual dynamics. I craft each session in accordance with the style and emotions of the couples I work with, creating partnerships with them that result in photographs to be treasured and admired, and a unique look for each wedding that stems not just from my artistic eye, but from the personality of the couple. My Style

I am a modern, contemporary style photographer who could also be classified as lifestyle, photojournalist, or in more plain English, a photographer who focuses on the candid moments as they happen. I enjoy many different styles of photography but I like to take a combination of classic, alternative, and candid styles in my Engagement and Wedding photography. I also work in the modern Urban genre – characterized by city buildings and the couple’s independence rather than just their intimacy – and as a bit of an artistic chameleon, I consider each couple’s desires for their photography to be a unique challenge. I specialize in several editing styles, the two main ones being supercolor, a crisp, saturated color style, and I also love vintage black and white with a slight sepia tone. If those words sound confusing to you, that’s okay. I’m just describing what the photos on the page here look like, you can decide for yourself what about them appeals to you specifically.

Everything You Need To Know: Planning Your Wedding to be Admired

You have arrived at an all-in-one planning resource to aid you in discovering if Admire Studios is the right choice for your Engagement Photos and Wedding Photography. Read on to discover information on my portfolio, availability, special offers, references from brides, and more.

Engagement photography  is available through Admire Studios. Whether you’ve been together for years and only have a few snapshots or you’re right in the middle of your whirlwind romance, engagement photos capture the experience of your dynamic and beautiful relationship. Engagement sessions with Admire are focused not only on the photography, but on having a fun and intimate experience with each other, making memories that you can keep. If you’re starting your plans early, they’re also a great way to “test drive” working with Twyla before your wedding, to see if her personality and images suit you before committing to the big day.

Your Shoot with Admire

• 45 minutes to 1 hour of professional couples’ photography with Twyla of Admire Studios
• Deluxe Sessions add multiple locations and time to your session – a valuable way to get the most out of your session
• Formal and Informal Candid images, styled to suit your personality as a couple
• Focus on you as a couple, individual shots by request
• On-location anywhere in Edmonton, St. Albert, or Sherwood Park
• No Extra Travel Fees for acreage locations within 30 minutes of city limits!

• Admire’s own Rustic Black and White AND Supercolor Image Editing – you’ll receive all images in both styles
• All your good images in FULL High Resolution (no watermarks, suitable to print) on disc within 2 weeks (typically 50-80 images, all in both color and black and white!)
• Copies of ALL your images in Web Size images, a smaller size suitable for posting on Facebook, emailing friends, and other social media
• For Web Size Images Only: NO WATERMARKS. I accept image credit by the honor system! (You may request watermarks if you’d prefer not to credit yourself, but here at Admire, we’re pretty confident that you’ll love your  images and want to tell everyone who you worked with anyway!)

If the day is marked booked or busy, I will be unable to attend your wedding, but please consider my services for your Engagement photos and customized wedding invitations.

To book your wedding date:

Call Twyla at 780-250-6878 to arrange a meeting.

There will be a $500 deposit and signing of a contract required to book your date. The remainder of your full cost is due by one month before your wedding, and yes, you can pay in pre-arranged installments instead. You can pay securely via Email Money Transfers, cheque, TD Bank Direct transfer if you bank with them or direct debit if you use another bank, or cash for amounts of $500 or less. Find Out Which Package is Right for You

ALL Admire Weddings Include:

PRE-MEETING: We will meet beforehand and we can talk about what your specific needs and desires are. All packages include minimum of 1 hour Pre-Meeting and Unlimited Communication regarding your wedding, including easy shotlist creation and helpful forms to make your life easier.

REHEARSAL ATTENDANCE: All wedding photography contracts include the photographers’ presence at your Rehearsal, if you are having one (highly recommended!)

EDITING: Editing is included in any package you select. This means that your images will be color and exposure corrected, and selected images will receive special attention and may (in addition to the original) be converted to black and white, or given special editing attention to stylize a copy. “Touch-up” requests will be considered, but may incur extra per-hour costs. Ask for a sample of a finished wedding DVD if you are concerned with what this means for you.

HIGH RESOLUTION PHOTOS: All packages include all finished images burned to a few DVDs for you, your family and friends. It’s easy to add more DVDs, too, for just $25 a set. DVDs include web and print sizes for your convenience.

FAST TURNAROUND: Get previews from your wedding within a day or two, and your final images within 2-3 weeks.

Most wedding photography with Admire Studios will range in price from $1500 to $3500 for simple weddings to extravagant wedding coverage, post-production, and albums. Full-Day packages include albums.

Creativity is something I was really looking for in a photographer and Twyla really personified that. She followed us up bridges and over fences, adding her own ideas and twists and I was incredibly happy with every wedding picture we got back! We had her for a whole day-our entire wedding, and I definitely don’t regret that decision because not a single once in a lifetime moment was missed. It was a long day for us and absolutely a long day for her as well but she kept smiling and snapping away. Michael and I had Twyla to take both our engagement and wedding photos. Despite the chilly and cloudy days that both of those days were, the pictures turned out great and displayed the pure joy we have in being together. Our experiences with Twyla have been great! The whole photo process went very smoothly. Being able to feel relaxed on our wedding day was very important to us, and Twyla definitely made that possible. I have a bit of a complicated family situation and Twyla handled it wonderfully. One thing I appreciated was Twyla’s ability to improvise. There were pictures that different family members wanted and she was willing to accommodate them without hesitation. She was able to take their ideas and turn it into some amazing photos. I’m sure that everyone left the park satisfied that their requests were met. Russel and I can be very spontaneous and random, and Twyla was able to capture that in the photos. She caught our funny faces, awkward poses, and our use of props and worked with them to get some great shots. And when we said “Lets go to A&W!” she was totally on board. Nothing makes a picture like confetti guns and root beer…
